ICS seeks a full-time Client Coordinator for our Portland office. This position is responsible for serving as the primary source of contact for all ICS clients and the public and to assist in intake, scheduling, and office administrative support.

Job Duties:

  • Greets and assists clients.

  • Answers phones and returns voice messages.

  • Directs calls and provides information to callers as needed.

  • Schedules appointments and coordinates consultation requests.

  • Maintains electronic and physical client files.

  • Coordinates receipt and distribution of client documents.

  • Facilitates communication between clients and legal workers, including Spanish

  • Enters data into Camp Legal and other databases.

  • Collects and process client payments.

  • Processes mail and delivers to recipients.

  • Translates Spanish language documents for immigration applications.

  • Provides administrative assistance to staff, such as copying, scanning, and mailing.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be highly organized with attention to detail.

  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish and have experience working and interacting with immigrant populations.

Salary and Benefits: ICS offers an excellent total compensation plan. Salary is commensurate with experience with a salary range of $41,859 - $46,954 with a demonstrated key language proficiency in Spanish. Our 401(k) Plan includes an employer contribution of 3% of salary according to terms. Our benefits package includes fully paid health, vision & dental plans for employee level coverage, generous paid-health related leave, including 8 weeks of paid parental leave after 6 months of employment, and vacation (20 days of paid time off annually in your first year) in addition to 14 paid holidays, and a 35-hour standard work week

Working Conditions:
Hybrid Work: We have been utilizing and evaluating a Hybrid Work Model during COVID 19. However, this position is identified as an essential worker and will be required to work from the office at least 4 days a week on a scheduled basis to be pre-arranged with your supervisor. We will provide you with a laptop, printer, and cell phone. We are a collaborative office environment and pride ourselves in not only providing high-quality legal representation to the Oregon community but also learning from one another.

  • May require occasional driving of a motor vehicle and requires a valid insurable Driver’s License.

  • May require evening or weekend work; working with challenging clients; driving to centers where clients are located, immigration offices, immigration court, and state courts and clinics in various parts of Oregon and southern Washington.
