In Celebration of Labor Day

This Labor Day, We Celebrate Daniela 💪✨

This month, Daniela* received her work authorization, marking a huge milestone in her immigration journey and a powerful moment of recognition just in time for Labor Day.

Daniela first came to ICS for help obtaining a U visa, which is a non-immigrant visa for survivors of certain crimes who are willing to assist in the investigation or prosecution of those crimes. While her visa application is still pending, ICS’s team has been hard at work to ensure Daniela is protected from deportation and able to work in the United States.

This Labor Day, we honor the resilience and contributions of workers like Daniela, whose courage and determination embody the spirit of the holiday. After everything she’s been through, this moment represents safety, opportunity, and the future she’s been working so hard to build. Daniela’s strength and perseverance are inspiring, and we’re proud to stand beside her on this path.
